Roberts Kadiķis works as scientific assistant at Institute of electronics and computer sciences since 2011. In MITS project Roberts together with Karlis Freivalds are working on video processing algorithm for vehicle detection, tracking, parameter acquisition and classification. In 2011 Roberts defended his master’s thesis “Video processing based monitoring of traffic flow”. The topic of video processing in ITS is also basis of dissertation in progress “Video processing methods for intelligent transportation systems”.
